Quevo ("we", "us", "our") provides a browser extension designed to help users optimize job applications by extracting job posting information from supported job platforms. We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining full transparency in how we handle data.

Information We Collect

The Quevo extension collects only the following information from job posting pages when the user initiates an action (clicking the “Send to Quevo” button):

Job title
Company name
Job location
Job description
Public job metadata (such as posting date or applicant count)

No personal user information is collected.

We do not collect or access:

Names
Email addresses
Passwords
Browsing history
IP addresses
Cookies
Personal profile information
Payment information
Sensitive or private data of any kind

How We Use the Information

The collected job information is used only for:

Adding the job posting to the user’s Quevo dashboard
Generating tailored resumes or application materials
Managing job applications in the user’s workspace

The data is never used for advertising, analytics, tracking, or any unrelated purposes.

Data Sharing

We do not:

Sell data
Share data with advertisers
Share data with third parties or data brokers

Data is sent only to Quevo’s secure API to complete user-requested actions.

Local Storage

The extension may use Chrome storage to maintain minimal UI state (e.g., whether a button was injected). No job data or personal user data is stored locally.

User Control

Users may:

Delete any job data from their Quevo dashboard
Remove the extension at any time
Request deletion of their Quevo account and stored data

Data Access

The Quevo extension only interacts with publicly available job posting pages on supported job boards (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, or company career sites). It does not access or interact with any other websites.

Security

All data is transmitted securely through HTTPS
No remote executable code is used
No third-party scripts or analytics are included
Data access is restricted only to specific job posting URLs

Chrome Web Store Compliance

This extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use Policy. The extension only collects data required for its core functionality and never transfers data to third parties.
